Quick Tip: Toggle Privacy Mode With a Keyboard Shortcut
Posted: June 14, 2026 · 1 min read
The shortcut
Press Ctrl+Shift+S (or Cmd+Shift+S on Mac) while manyCalendars is open to toggle Privacy Mode on and off. No menu diving, no settings page. One keystroke and you are in.
What Privacy Mode changes
The tab title switches from "manyCalendars" to a plain, generic "Calendar." The manyCalendars branding and color accents are toned down to a neutral gray palette with no product logos. The calendar grid stays fully functional, but the visual footprint becomes a plain calendar nobody would look twice at during a screen share.
Your data, your calendars, and your conflict detection all keep working exactly the same. Privacy Mode only changes the surface appearance.
When to use it
Screen sharing with a client. Presenting your screen during an all-hands. Working from a coworking space where someone might glance at your monitor. Any moment where you want your multi-calendar setup to be visible to you and invisible to everyone else.
One keystroke on, one keystroke off. Get manyCalendars and keep your scheduling superpower between you and your browser.
